Interchange's teaching artists can work with you to infuse arts and cultural programming into your curriculum. A teaching artist is a practicing professional artist from one of Interchangešs partner organizations with the complementary skills and sensibilities of an educator.
Our teaching artists are looking forward to collaborating with you to engage your students in learning through, or about, the arts.

- Improve students' achievements (measured by test scores, attendance etc.).
- Demonstrate observable evidence of widespread integration of the arts into classroom
practice in district schools.
- Foster ongoing collaboration of educational advocates, arts institutions, and educators.
- Seek greater public engagement in and support for arts education.
- Strengthen neighborhood schools as centers of neighborhood revitalization.
- Ensure sustainability of the program, assuming preceding goals are met.
